Mike McSherry joined Hildene in May 2020; he is responsible for analyzing corporate and distressed credit investments, as well as underlying collateral in TruPS CDOs and subordinated debt issued by banks and insurance companies.
Prior to joining Hildene, Mr. McSherry worked in the Principal Investments Group at TIAA-CREF, where he executed acquisitions, divestitures and private investments on behalf of the firm. Prior to TIAA-CREF, he was a part of the Financial Institutions Investment Banking Team at Sterne, Agee & Leach and covered investment grade financial institutions as a credit analyst with Moody’s. He began his career in the Actuarial & Product Management Group at the Travelers Companies. Michael McSherry graduated from the University of Connecticut with a B.S. in Finance and earned his MBA at the Harvard Business School.
